Swimming

Golf is not all we offer during the sticky Iowa summer, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, our members enjoy the refreshing aquatic center.

The club's swimming facility was completed in 2009 and sits just northeast of the clubhouse.

Our six lane, 25-yard pool, is just the right size for our growing membership. At the aquatics center you will find a winding slide that the kids love, a large stair entry, and a baby pool for the little ones. Our expansive deck area is great for lounging, taking in the sun or grabbing a bite to eat. The poolside bar and grill serves a full menu as well as beer, wine and cocktails. You will also find convenient changing rooms on each end of the pool hut.

Our aquatics director and fun professional staff provide lifeguard duties. Although the pool is a great place to kick back and relax, we also provide a space to learn and have fun. Our staff offers individual and group swimming lessons for all ages throughout the summer. We also have a youth swim team that competes against other local clubs. The swim team is a great opportunity for children to grow their abilities and participate in healthy competition.

The Briarwood swimming facility is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Weather permitting, the pool is open each day from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
